Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Gracefully Truthful Ministries (“Gracefully Truthful,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our partner platform (the “Service”) hosted at partners.gracefullytruthful.com. The Service is a private workspace used by the ministry's invited volunteer teams to author, review, and manage Bible-study content.
Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to operate the Service:
- Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google Account. If you register with an email and password instead, we collect your name, email address, and a securely hashed password.
- Content you create. Studies, comments, tasks, prayer and praise posts, attachments, and other content you author within the Service.
- Files you choose to import. If you use the Google Drive import feature, we receive the contents of the specific file you select through Google's file picker, so we can bring it into a study draft (see “Google user data” below).
- Operational data. Basic technical logs (such as error reports and timestamps) needed to keep the Service secure and working.
Google user data
The Service requests the following Google Account permissions (OAuth scopes), and uses the resulting data only as described:
- Sign-in (
openid, email, profile). Used solely to authenticate you, create and identify your account, and display your name and picture within the Service. - Google Drive — per-file access (
drive.file). Used only when you actively choose to import a document. Google's file picker lets you select one specific file; we then read that file's contents to convert it into an editable study draft inside the Service. This permission grants access only to the files you explicitly open or create with the Service — it does not allow us to see, list, or access any other files in your Google Drive.
We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
Limited Use disclosure
Gracefully Truthful's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Specifically, we use Google user data only to provide and improve the features described above, we do not transfer or sell it to third parties except as needed to operate the Service (and never for advertising), and we do not allow humans to read it except where you give affirmative consent, it is necessary for security or to comply with applicable law, or the data is aggregated and anonymized.
How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and secure the Service.
- To authenticate you and manage your account and permissions.
- To enable collaboration features such as authoring, review, comments, assignments, and the community feed.
- To send Service-related notifications (such as invitations, review updates, and mentions).
- To diagnose problems and improve reliability and performance.
How we store and protect information
Your data is stored on reputable cloud infrastructure providers and protected with industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and password hashing. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information using reasonable safeguards.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:
- Within your teams. Content you create is visible to other members of the Service according to its sharing and team settings, as part of the platform's collaboration features.
- With service providers who host and operate the Service on our behalf (for example, cloud hosting, database, and transactional email providers), bound to protect your data.
- When required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service.
Data retention and deletion
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us at the email below. Note that imported document content becomes part of the study drafts you create and is retained as part of that content unless you delete it.
Your choices and rights
- You can review and update your profile information within the Service.
- You can revoke the Service's access to your Google Account at any time from your Google Account permissions page.
- You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.
Children
The Service is intended for adult volunteers of the ministry and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
